Target hack puts your info at risk

I called my bank today. They told me to watch my activities carefully and report it stolen after the holidays, when I could go a week without it.

  1. My friend who had a stroke last year had used his credit card at Target about a week and a half ago.

    He called his card company today and (thinks) he was told what you were told: Watch and wait.

    Yet, Krebsonsecurity says that debit cards are at risk, which could mean having saving and checking accounts raided. At least that’s what I gather.

    Is that what we’re being told, but not by our card companies?

    Anyway, it should be new card, new debit card, new PINs, new passowrd time, big time.

    Right???
