Susie this is common to pretty much everyone, (unless they have zero imagination?). I saw a documentary just this last week (I believe it was How the Earth Made Man?) which explained common things like jerking awake, seeing shapes in clouds and much more. Apparently the reason we see faces is we evolved with the ability to pick them out for survival (think lion hiding in tall grass).
