You can’t believe how that one almost-blizzard seems to have killed off the story stream. Does every reporter in the world live in NYC? What about the ones in DC?
Still looking for stories, having trouble finding stuff that’s interesting.
Here’s one:
General John Campbell, who runs the war in Afghanistan for the US, has declared that the war is now “Top Secret.”
Therefore any information passed on to the American people about the cost of the war, the number of US troops in Afghanistan, or the day to day operations of our troops in the country by the news media is a violation of law.
WTF?
Has General Campbell gone rogue or is he taking orders from the Commander-in-Chief?
And another:
Rep. Paul Ryan made the rounds on the Sunday “news” shows.
Question to Mr. Ryan: Did Boner commit a boner by inviting Netanyahu?
Answer from Ryan: “Congress is a co-equal branch of government, therefore…..”
Ok Mr. Ryan, I asked myself, exactly how would this all work?
Would the Congress pursue its own foreign policy independent of the Presidents foreign policy and would the Supreme Court follow suit?
All Republicans are crazy.
Nelson Rockefeller and John Lindsay aren’t crazy.
Dead, yes, but crazy, no.
Nelson Rockefeller was crazy—Attica. He said that the lethal raid on Attica was a “matter of principle” and told Nixon that it was “beautiful.”
John Lindsay ended up a Democrat so he found his sanity later in life.
