As long as it’s not a life and death job that requires specific technical skills, I don’t care. Since the crash, companies have gone crazy with their demands for new hires. If you know how to do the job, I don’t care if you lie to get it.

I pondered this service idea during one of my bouts of unemployment years earlier than this and I say good on him!!! As someone who has had lots of different jobs in various industries, the current hiring system is a joke. Under qualified/over qualified/too many jobs/not enough jobs/too educated/under educated/we need a specialist admin/we need a generalist admin – a total joke.
Sometimes it’s expected. Back when I thought I should be a legal secretary, lying about having experience was the only way in, as was explained to me by an attorney, who was even a bit exasperated that I hadn’t figured it out for myself.
