In fact that “armada” was actually sailing toward Australia.

>Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend runs the wars in Syria and Iraq. Anything that occurs militarily in either of those countries, Lt. Gen. Townsend has ordered to happen without any input from Trump.
Townsend, like Nicholson, wants an additional 10,000 US troops. 5000 for Syria and 5000 for Iraq.
The military brass is formulating our military and foreign policy not the Commander-in-Chief and the State Department.
