  1. Tesla was the genius who created a system which could deliver an endless supply of free electricity to each of us.

    Edison, who Tesla worked for, was opposed to his idea because there was no profit to be made.

    So Edison stole his work, fired him, sued him and got his friends in the federal government to go after him.

    Edison is the reason that none of us is enjoying an endless supply of free electricity today.

  2. Whoa: Let’s get real. The cost of a roof here in Minnesota is about ten grand. The return you post doesn’t nearly justify that price differential for the average homeowner.

  3. You get a fairly hefty tax credit for installing solar — plus, you sell back any surplus electricity to the local supplier. Add in what you save over the next 20 years, and it’s a good deal. But you have to be in a position to finance the upfront costs.
