In the year since Donald Trump was elected president on a promise to “drain the swamp” of Washington’s corruption, Americans have become more, not less, convinced that Washington is corrupt, and that the White House is the most corrupt institution in U.S. government.
Not only are those “in charge” corrupt, but they also show their contempt for us 99% on a daily basis.
The $700 billion dollar military budget was signed into law yesterday by Trump.
Trump’s signing of the budget act was illegal because this budget ($150 billion more then last year) violates the budget cap law of 2011.
Until the 2011 law is rescinded by congress the military budget act of 2018 is illegal.
That’s contemptible and corrupt.
And so is Section 702 of the Patriot Act which should be junked.
