Sen. Bob Corker calls Trump's 'pressuring' on Justice Department 'totally inappropriate'

Facing a firestorm of criticism, Republican Sen. Bob Corker (TN) sent a letter Sunday night to Senate Finance Committee Chair Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, asking how the final tax bill ended up including a special tax cut provision experts say would particularly benefit investors in real-estate related LLCs.

  1. What a corrupt bastard Bob Corker is.

    Capitalists hate government.
Capitalists also hate the regulations that the people, through their government, impose on them.

Republicans constantly fight against clean air and water standards, land and ocean use restriction, money for the poor, universal health care for the sick and so on. They fight against improving the lives of the people just for the sake of ever increasing non-taxable profits for the corporations and tax cuts for the rich.

Republicans are the enemy of the people and their philosophy—Capitalism—is dangerous to all living things.

  2. Capitalists love government. It gives them hedge fund brackets and twenty percent earnings caps. This 20% bracket is just Carried Interest redux. The justification is a total shill. These businesses could have filed a post card with the Secretary of State to obtain absolute parity with Chapter C corporations on earnings retained. Instead they buy off their political toadies and pass through a 20% cap that allows them to pay less than all of us do on wages while paying nothing into Social Security and Medicare. So how do they expect to pay off all these new deficits? Guess! This Reform is vile. Time to start building guillotines.
