The only time I’ve managed to see Richard Thompson (so far) was at an in store performance at Amoeba in San Francisco before his show at the Fillmore. He introduced this song by saying “This is a song about how a girl got her motorcycle.”
Maybe I’ll get to see one of his electric shows before it’s too late. I really hope so.
