We finally know the gist of what’s in the manufactured Nunes memo, thanks to this New York Times story: “The New York Times reports the this morning that House Republicans’ controversial memo on the FBI and the Justice Department targets deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein who has oversight of the special counsel’s Russia probe,” Mika Brzezinski…

Rosenstein is the “decider” as was mentioned.
So Trump wants him fired.
After which Trump wants Sessions to appoint someone to his job who will literally kiss Trump’s ass. In public.
Releasing the Nunes Memo will do far more harm to the Republicans then it will to the intelligence community.
It was always clear that as soon as the intelligence community declared war on Trump months ago that they would take a hit.
Democrats should demand the release of the Nunes Memo and then sit back and watch the Right consume itself.
The obstruction case rises or falls on what Mueller has found in the way of money laundering from Russia to the Trump campaign. Trump has lied to his lawyers. If they are smart they suspect it. When the questioning pivots there they walk out and Trump fires before a grand jury subpoena can be issued.
And meanwhile, Russian bots and trolls are still busy cranking out identical tweets lauding Sean Hannity and calling NYT “fake news” and a “hit piece”. As “Tea Pain” wrote: “they are not RTs, but sent as original content. Yet, each tweet is identical. This is all cranked out by one Russian operator.”
Someone on TV Saturday said they wanted Mueller to ask Fergus one question: “Did you try to fire me?”
If he says no, that’s perjury, if he says yes it’s obstruction of justice.
