I just heard her new album. I’ve seen her three times, once with the Sadies, once with the New Pornographers, and in 2016 at the Fox in Oakland with what has become her touring band.
She and Kelly Hogan sound about as good together as it gets, in my opinion, and apparently she has Rachel Flotard singing with her this time.
She comes back to the Fox in December, hope I can make it again. She played the Greek Theater in Berkeley last week, and although I love the Greek, I don’t think I can navigate it any more since my stroke.
The Fox, on the other hand, goes out of their way to accommodate the disabled, and is a first-rate venue, sound wise.
