In the Alice in Wonderland world of Capitalism, what’s suppose to go down, goes up instead.
Last Friday the OPEC countries agreed to produce 1 million barrels of oil more per day.
According to the “fee market” Capitalists,when the supply of anything increases its price will fall, right?
Apparently not.
Immediately after the OPEC announcement the price of oil rose by 5% to $68.58 a barrel.
Soon OPEC will cut production and the price of oil will increase again.
No market forces at wok here.
Trump has no power except that power which has been granted to him by his Capitalist oligarch backers. When they tire of him, he’ll be gone. But not before they’ve made a fortune at the expense of the rest of us.
