Perhaps Damus is a Democrat who opposes charter schools?
We give public funds (taxes) to private, for-profit, charter schools.
How did Capitalist America arrive at that place?
Much of the fault lies with the Republicans and people like Walker and Devos.
But the blame isn’t all theirs.
The Democrats just reelected two Democratic governors, Coumo of New York and Gina Raimondo of New Jersey, who both support charter schools.
Democrat Jared Polis, who started a charter school, was elected as Colorado’s next governor.
Obama praised charter schools.
So did Democrat Marshall Tuck, who founded a charter school network in California.
Fortunately Tuck was defeated by union-backed, anti-charter school Democrat Tony Thurman in Nov. for California Superintendent of Public Education.
On a positive note the voters elected anti-charter school governors in California, Illinois and Michigan.
Hold hearings and then unfund ICE as a rogue and lawless operation.
