The Kurds do not have clean hands.
During the Armenian Genocide (1915-17) the Kurds rounded up thousands of innocent Armenians and sent them to their deaths when they handed them over to Turkish forces. 1.5 million Armenians were eventually killed by the Turkish government.
But that wasn’t the worst of it.
The Kurds took advantage of the ethnic cleansing and carried out a holocaust of their own by murdering countless Syriac Christians.
Nobody in the region wants to see an independent Kurdish state covered with US fingerprints dropped into the middles of the Middle East.
But that is exactly what the lunatic, interventionist, warmongers, Democrat and Republican, want to see happen.
To placate these blood-thirsty, neo-cons, Trump has decided to increase the number of troops in Iraq and turn the entire country into one giant US military base.
Something that the Iraqi government strongly opposes.
When did we begin using entire countries as US military bases?
How many troops will Trump station in Iraq?
How long will our troops be in Iraq?
Forever like in South Korea?
