I’d had a thing with a guy a long time ago, and years later, I still couldn’t even think about him without wanting to slap myself in the head. I was invited to lunch with a friend and his co-worker, and she turned out to work with this guy — who’d basically had affairs with every other woman in the entire office.
And I know it seems weird, but it made me feel better that so many other women fell for his lies.
