This was really quite an event, as the Senate Judiciary Committee (led by Lindsey Graham) questioned the attorney general about the Mueller report and related topics and he utterly destroyed what was left of his good name. The Democrats were as aggressive as I could want, and the Republicans gave Barr several lengthy tongue baths:
This was a big moment: Sen. Kamala Harris got Barr to admit that he decided not to charge Trump with obstruction—perhaps the most consequential DOJ decision since Watergate—without examining any of the underlying evidence pic.twitter.com/v9lyke0HZE

Barr says Mueller didn’t intend for his report to be turned over to Congress for further action
— John Harwood (@JohnJHarwood) May 1, 2019
Mueller said explicitly in the report that Congress is the means for holding presidents accountable for crimes while they’re in office
.@CoryBooker: The Trump campaign shared data with foreign entities.
— Polly Sigh (@dcpoll) May 1, 2019
Barr: What data?
Booker [flabbergasted]: They shared polling data…I can give you the page number-
Barr: Shared it with who? [WITH A RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE OPERATIVE!!!]
Has Barr even read the Mueller Report? https://t.co/wc1RQf7jH1
Confirm. He did. Barr admits to providing redacted names of Grand Jury investigations to the White House. @CSPAN https://t.co/2FTUsyvc3I. This is obvious obstruction of justice.

A note to my GOP friends: when a Democratic AG is overtly political, runs daily interference for his or her Dem POTUS, lies to Congress, spins and distorts investigations, and uses the agitprop rhetoric of the campaign, y'all just stay quiet, ok?

You lost your bitching rights.
Whoosh. Sen. Mazie Hirono went off on Bill Barr. And she made an Iran Contra pardons mention!

"You lied to congress."

Asked by Sen. Richard Blumenthal if Congress could review notes taken of the call between Attorney General William Barr and Robert Mueller, Barr says "no."
— CNN (@CNN) May 1, 2019
"Why not?" asks Blumenthal.
"Why should you have them?" Barr replies.https://t.co/u3hzgrIPtT pic.twitter.com/YdbBlcnICq
To sum up: GOP chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham did not read entire mueller report. And we just learned Bill barr didn't read it all either. #BarrHearing

If you disagree, here's how to contact him:
DC: (202) 224-5972
South Carolina offices
Greenville: (864) 250-1417
Columbia: (803) 933-0112
Florence: (843) 669-1505

If you go back and read the debate transcripts Trump gave out Graham’s personal cell number. That would be far more effective.
Hashtag: Candy-ass Barr.
If you think that you’re one of the big-boys and you want to play big-boy games then you have to take on all comers.
Trump takes on anybody by lying to everybody.
Barr just bails from the fight.
Barr’s price for becoming Trump’s mouthpiece were jobs for his son-in-law Tyler McGaughey (married to Barr’s youngest daughter) who is now a White House counsel working with Giuliani,
Mary Barr Daly just moved from the DOJ to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN.gov) at Treasury
and Patricia Barr Straughn works on the Agricultural Committee for the Republicans.
Republicans are the “enemy of the people.”
Especially those Republicans, like unitary Bill Barr, who believe that the president, any president, is omnipotent and infallible just like Pope’s and dictators.
Someone wrote in a Kos diary I believe, but it might have been on digby, the author was a one-time campaign consultant. And he wrote that if you share your internal polling data with anyone — that means they are fully committed partners in the campaign — you have handed them the most important data you have, the ‘keys to the kingdom’. You had better be 100% convinced of their commitment. Ergo the Russian secret service guys were 100% committed partners.
