The coal industry is dying and tens of thousands of coal miners have already lost their jobs.
Medicare-for-all will allow you to keep your doctor, but not your for-profit health insurance corporation.
Rather then the individual paying a premium to a for-profit health insurance corporation to intervene on their behalf with doctors and hospitals concerning fees and charges, the Medicare-for-all Department will perform that function.
That eliminates the cost of profit.
To cover the cost of this and other services the individual will pay a premium (tax) to the Medicare-for-all Department in the same way anyone over 65 does today for Medicare. ($134.00 per month per person.)
Just like the unemployed coal miners, anyone employed by a for-profit health insurance corporation will need to find another job.
Every Democratic party leader should throw their full support behind Medicare-for-all for the sake of the people.
