South Carolina Senator Tim Scott’s Republican police reform bill is a joke.
But why wouldn’t it be?
Trump, McConnell, Scott, and the rest of the Republicans are all a macabre joke.
The Democratic bill is better but, falls far short of what’s needed to defund the militarization of our nations 18,000 police departments.
A $20 dollar an hour minimum wage.
Medicare For All.
Defunding the police (state).
Defunding the largest military that the world has ever known (by 10x).
So what’s not to like there?
We know that the Republicans won’t have any of that.
So on November 3, we vote every elected Republican out of office beginning with Trump.
It’s our duty as sane Americans.
