    On September 6, 2011 Obama said, “Last year, we worked together, Republicans and Democrats, to pass a payroll tax cut.”
    Now Trump wants to pass his own version of a payroll tax cut.

    Before Obama’s “payroll tax holiday” no president since FDR had borrowed money from the General Fund to cover a shortfall in the Social Security System.
    The System is designed to be self-funding through the payroll “tax” contributions of workers.
    Obama cut the payroll tax by 2% and created a one year, $120 billion shortfall which he had to borrow from the Treasury.
    Now Trump wants his own version of a payroll tax cut.

    The Republicans have been trying to destroy and eliminate the Social Security System since it was signed into law by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935.
    The Republicans have also tried to privatize the System to create a skim for themselves an the Capitalists.

    Obama/Biden did their part in damaging the Social Security System in 2011 and now Trump wants to visit his own special brand of destruction on the System.

    Hopefully the Democrats have learned their lesson and will tell Trump and the Republicans to shove it?

    What unsettles Progressives is that Biden was one of the main cheerleaders pushing for the Obama “payroll tax holiday.”
