  1. The single biggest threat to our democratic-republic is partisan redistricting or gerrymandering.

    The Republicans will vote against the Covid-19 relief bill even though 71% of Americans, including 50% of Republicans, support the legislation.
    Obviously the Republicans don’t fear losing their seats in the next election.

    Three dozen Republican state legislatures across the country have gerrymandered hundreds of “safe districts” in strategic locations in their respective states.
    Those elected legislators clearly feel that it’s perfectly safe to vote in their own self-interest and the American people be damned.

    You can’t gerrymander a Senate seat (although they can be purchased), but you can gerrymander a lifetime legislative seat in a Republican controlled state.

    The Republican Party is a stain on America.
