Lowell George caused his own share of heartache. He was a married man who wooed pretty much every female performer in L.A. (Yes, that’s Linda Ronstadt. Yes, she was also swept off her feet by him and was surprised when Lowell’s wife showed up at the motel where Linda spent the previous week with him.)

First off, I love Little Feat and Lowell George, but he is the epitome of live hard, die young, and leave a beautiful(?) corpse.
So maybe it was to the benefit of many Hollywood relationships that his life ended early?
