You may already know there was an attempted coup in Russia last night, and that’s all I know at the time I scheduled this. CNN no longer seems to have a Russian bureau, and was talking about the sub instead:

The Wagner guy seems to have abruptly abandoned his march on Moscow “to the end” and will now relocate to Belarus. How that will impact Russia’s ability to fend off Ukraine’s counter offensive remains to be seen, but I will venture that it will not be helpful to them. Putin seems to be getting a lesson about the use of mercenaries.
