Setting the stage for a Saturday soaker. Cold airmass dropping on the backside of a developing front. Surface low will eject from the Gulf and slide close to NJ coast. pic.twitter.com/hpeubCp8T5

I bought a down parka back in the fall, but we didn’t have a polar vortex and it never got cold enough to wear it — until yesterday, the first day of spring. Cold and blustery, with cherry blossoms blooming everywhere. The pollen is insane.
I am bemused.
And tomorrow, we are on flood watch. We’re supposed to get 3.5 inches of rain and high winds in one day.
I long for some moderate, consistent weather.
