just like other muscles in our bodies. This is why people experience vocal changes with age. They may sound harsh, breathy, or even weaker as a result of the stiffening of the vocal folds. Remember Clinton's voice got worse? Well he had vocal polyps which I believe he had removed

CNN held a focus group during the Biden press conference — they clearly hoped it would show panicky calls for him to quit the race.

It backfired.
Instead, all but 1 of the focus group members said they were reassured and relieved — and that Biden should STAY in the race.
I didn’t need a press conference to know beyond doubt that Biden knows the job and can do the job. Fuck the doubters (haters).
When I was in rehab from my stroke, my speech pathologist, Vanna, had a profound stutter. Not a Biden crashes into words he can’t render once in a while, but a profound stutter. She was a brilliant, competent professional who made massive contributions to my recovery. Her communication skills were unique and quite effective. I owe her a lot.
When I asked her if she was OK talking about it, she said “You don’t become a speech pathologist if you don’t want to talk about your stutter, now let’s talk about your right side avoidance…”
She sounds wonderful.
