The Creek Fire of 2020 was previously the sixth largest fire in California history at 379,895 acres. It was five ridges to the East of here, and while it burned, the first thing I did in the morning and the last thing I did at night was to zoom in on the Western edge of it on the Inciweb map. The smoke in the air from it set my progress at walking outdoors back to zero, as it messed with my balance and made it terrifying to walk downhill at all.
