I was vaguely aware of most of those before, but the scale of the giveaway still staggered me.
Flashback to the time someone was yammering about all the government handouts solar energy was getting (this was in the 90s, I think). And a more knowedgeable person pointed out that subsidies to fossil fuels were close to a thousand times bigger.
