1. I was a fan of Loggins and Messina, who in my opinion, also didn’t get the respect they deserved. A lot of their songs were anti-Vietnam songs and their band was killer. I went to a lot of their shows in Santa Barbara.
   All that being said, I remember a couple of years ago hearing that they were going to be on CBS Sunday morning, an excellent music show by the way, so I tuned in.
   The band came out and I thought who these old farts?
   But then I realized they were just like me, an old fart!

2. I loved them, but was only familiar with the first album.
