A matter of preference

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.Check out how tiny the crowds were:Philly: 200DC: "several hundred"Boston: 500Austin: 1,000Houston: 2,000

I was covering that Philly rally. It looked more like a few dozen to me.

  1. Been a minute!
I remember that rally. My brother took a photo of me dangling a tea bag over my mouth and licking it erotically. The photo made it to Daily Kos (or TPM? I forget which.), Bill O’Reilly saw it, and threw a shit fit.
