Members of my family and extended family have done prison time for pot. That’s not unexpected since I was born and raised in Humboldt County.
Here in California, we are beginning to wipe the criminal records of pot convictions also, which is good, but a little late for my age group, many of whom were denied voting rights and decent careers over a weed that grows in the ground.
