Trump has taken on the racist persona of George Wallace.

In 1968 Wallace ran for the presidency as a third party candidate in the American Independent Party.

Republican Richard Mildew Nixon was afraid that Wallace would take the white, southern vote away from him and Humphrey was afraid that he would capture much of the blue collar union vote.

Those are the very racists that Trump is after in 2020.
