Every time I see someone bitching about why aren’t the Dems back in session so they can do something about guns, this is why I roll my eyes:

  1. Obviously Moscow Mitch is pro-gun and anti-Democratic Party.
    So anything that the Democratic House sends over will be killed. Immediately if not sooner.

    But, that’s an entirely separate issue from the frustration that rank-and-file Democrats are feeling about the leadership team in the Democratic Party.

    All of the Democratic leadership team in both houses and including Biden and the moderates on the presidential campaign trail, are out of touch. Completely.

    For example, and with the exception of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, no one in a leadership position realizes that Capitalism, and its enforcement arm Competition, are political issues in 2020. Not with the 50+ crowd of course, because they’re all out of touch and living in the last century as well.

    Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Klobuchar, and the others are trying to go back to the past.
    A past that was as illusionary as “Leave it to Beaver.”
