Great idea

  1. If for-profit health insurance companies were eliminated entirely then so would these costly practices.

We spend $3.5 trillion a year on health care in this country.

It would cost us an additional $750 billion a year to include the 30 million Americans who currently have no health care in a Medicare-For-All system.

For a total cost of $4.25 trillion a year, every single American could be provided with health care. (That’s $42.5 trillion over 10 years.)

Will taxes have to be raised to pay for Medicare-For-All?

That’s a loaded question and any politician who asks it is being disingenuous.

    But more on that later.

  2. tissue excision and biopsy are not likely to be replaced by smartphones.
I have noticed however, that docs will always call for MRI even for stuff that could be done more quickly and better with biopsy. As if they have to use their new toys to justify buying them. And EVERY little podunk clinic has to have its MRI, even if no one there really knows how to use it to best advantage, but they buy ridiculously expensive software to run it (ridiculously expensive hardware that it is).
