But not quite back to normal. For one thing, the doctor sent me home without pain meds, and I can’t believe how much everything hurts. All the discharge papers showed I was supposed to get them — but I didn’t. So this was the first time I was really feeling the brunt of the surgery. (An aside: I am back to being 5’5″ now that my legs are evened up.)
My home health nurse was trying to get in touch with the doctor, but as she said, “It’s the weekend. Good luck with that.”
But at least the Lemon Twigs did a free concert here Friday, so I thought I’d share.
And a lot of doctors take Friday off too, because reasons. A contributor to overloaded emergency rooms.
