Salon has an interesting piece on the inconsistencies in the various official stories.
It looks like the authorities have been massaging the data to cover their asses.
The way NYC officials ran out to point this out reminded me of the popular kid in school who as soon as attention is paid to someone else has to do something to get the attention back on them.
Oh, my, yes, John! The local news TV broadcasts were filled with leads that Dzhokhar indeed “said” they were going to Times Sqr. to toss some bombs, but, then the actual news report included the caveats that “officials” or “sources” “said” this info.
Yet, it was treated as if it were an actual terra alert!
Sickening. And almost seemed as if the local NYC media couldn’t stand not being the main target of something.
