People don’t act the way with their friends the way they do with everyone else. Neither do criminals. People are complicated.

If officer friendly can explain in a rational way why the kill shot or “double tap” was in the top of Brown’s head then maybe the public will believe his story. It’s doubtful but let’s not rush to judgment. After all we did that in the Kennedy assassination and we still don’t know who killed him. The oligarchy has an odd way of getting the results that it needs whether or not the facts say something else. Lies and obfuscation.
Different around friends sure, but remember how modern police are trained. Cops aren’t the helpful guy seen in the movies anymore.
The cops today see ‘us’ as adversaries. Why else would they be issued all of that battle gear? The war on drugs began the trend and the war on terror ushered in the twilight zone. Sprinkle in an irrational mistrust of people of color and a complete lack of understanding about what it takes for poor folks to survive from day to day and the result is bullet riddled bodies lying in the middle of the street under a hot sun for hours on end. The militarization of our police departments is the problem and the solution is straightforward and easy.
Friends don’t act like hot tempered racists around friends who might get offended by that. But those are probably not Wilson’s real friends.
More to the point, real friends make up bullshit lies about their friends not being racist and not having a short temper to help cover their asses when they are in trouble. Especially if those friends share the same sort of racist attitudes and have a history of making racist statements or provocations similar to their friend’s.
