Dawn Staley to the crowd:
"I want to personally thank Caitlin Clark for lifting up our sport. She carried a heavy load for our sport… She's gonna lift that league [WNBA] up… You are one of the GOATs of our game and we appreciate you.”

Looks like Andy Kim will be the next NJ senator
BREAKING: Tammy Murphy just announced she’s dropping out of the race for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, which clears the way for Andy Kim to replace Bob Menendez and be the next U.S. Senator from New Jersey. Such great news & such a great person to replace Bob Menendez. pic.twitter.com/bfJH8MtwLZ

How did Andy Kim beat the machine? https://t.co/8EbxE7v89k via @TPM

Yes, that’s the same Andy Kim who scrubbed shit off the floors of the Capitol after Jan. 6th. I love him for that.
Among other things, the political news out of New Jersey today means that the Senate seat is likely to go from a man accused of taking gold bars as part of a bribery scheme to a man best known before running for Senate for doing this in the Capitol after Jan. 6 riots/ pic.twitter.com/mIk9SdV1QK

I know it’s not enough
But it’s good to see people getting fed:
The markets in the South are full of food inc aid being sold on after being stolen and the wonderful organisation WCK is already operating in the North and yet more aid is on its way. https://t.co/vU3oXuvodR

Whew
Maybe this is the year World Central Kitchen gets the Nobel Prize they deserve:
LARNACA, Cyprus March 10 (Reuters) – A ship carrying tonnes of food for Gaza remained docked in a Cyprus port on Sunday as preparations were underway to launch a yet untested maritime aid route to the enclave, where the United Nations estimates a quarter of the population faces starvation.
The Open Arms, a salvage vessel, plans to tow a barge with 200 tonnes of food, mostly funded by the UAE. The supplies were sourced by charity World Central Kitchen (WCK), which is working with Spanish non-governmental organisation Proactiva Open Arms.
WCK said it has another 500 tonnes of supplies in Cyprus, which will be dispatched in future missions.
However, the timing on the departure for the aid was unclear. Packing the cargo was completed late on Saturday, but one source said the departure was partly contingent on creating a makeshift jetty in Gaza to facilitate deliveries since the strip has no port infrastructure.WCK is now constructing that jetty out of rubble.
Way to go
