I wonder what he plans to do about the straight priests who are molesting children and having sex with parishioners?

The new Pope faces his first controversy over the direction of the Catholic church after it was revealed that the Vatican has drawn up a religious instruction preventing gay men from being priests.

And they think they are having recruitment trouble now. When I was in seminary, 75% of my ordination track classmates were gay.

If so, when did the RC church start allowing female seminarians and priests?

Religion, a wonderful controll. Myself a recovering catholic. Ask yourself what’s your B.S. (belief system)? And if you don’t believe everything in your dogma , why do you stay? And where would you rather be?
