Also, FWIW: Obama showed up to vote against the FIA legislation. Clinton, who is a massive beneficiary of the telecom largesse, didn’t show.
Obama’s no progressive hero, but that move speaks in his favor.
Here is my betting:
Cheney, et al, have something on Reid, now Dodd, and any and all other Democrats who might be in a position to thwart the grand plans of the neocons. They use these things when it counts, like on the FISA opposition. How else to explain the utter and total capitulation by Democratic “leaders” when it comes to matters opposing the will of Cheneyites. Make no mistake - this is not Bush, who is dumb as a post and a puppet, but the neocons, who, thanks to our spioneless “leaders” in what used to be congress but is now a powerless group of cowards, hold sway over our country’s interests.

Yeah, I think Reid is a punk. God, I wish we could get a government….Talk about a hate meter being pegged…My frustration meter is pegged. This is making me nuts.
