Deep Thought

Why is Mrs. Alan Greenspan allowed to anchor the coverage of the financial crisis at the Very Liberal MSNBC, considering the part her spouse played in this mess? Why does she never mention her conflict of interest?

Thank you, Susie. I wonder that every time I see her mug. She’s their “premier” political reporter and they never mention her husband is Alan Greenspan???? WFT????
I think she should consistently be introduced as “Alan Greenspan’s wife, Andrea Mitchell”.
If she wasn’t married to him, she’d be canned, post-haste. She’s a dolty windbag.
I have always wondered about that! When she speaks about the economy I always say to myself… TOOL! But then I think…. none of my friends even know they are married. Scary!
Same blogger ethics conference, different day. I can’t figure out if it’s more annoying that Professional Journalists™ don’t seem to give a rat’s shiny pink nose about each other’s gross and obvious conflicts of interest — or their invent-a-quote ethics in general — or that they have these dust-covered Codes Of Professional Journalist™ Responsibility that they randomly hit bloggers over the head with from time to time.
Guess I’ll go with the dust. I’m allergic. It makes me sneeze.
With kind regards,
Dog, etc.
