One thought on “Little green apples

  1. The first record I ever bought was the 45rpm single of “Hey Jude” which had the rowdy version of “Revolution” on the B side. I think I was seven. When I got it home, my granny saw it, and mistook it for the song “Little Green Apples” which was on the radio at the time (the Roger Miller version if I remember correctly) because the label on the disc was a green apple for Apple Records. She told my sister to play it.
My sister, may she rest in peace, put the B side on and turned it up.
And that was the first time I got in trouble with my dad for music, but not the last.
