Krugman
I can understand why Krugman’s shocked. He thinks honesty and leadership will reassure the public during these hard times, and can’t really appreciate the 11-dimensional chess thing.
It’s not working, but boy, it’s a thing of beauty, ain’t it?
And in a not-unrelated methaphor, the blizzard is finally here.

5:23 pm
Here in DC, until about noon all we saw through the windows was white substance; now I can see trees and the wind noise subsided.
5:59 pm
Your time stamps are way off, Susie.
If they’re supposed to be EST, anyway.
6:11 pm
I saw the headline when I first turned on the computer.
It’s so good to wake up like that.
1:38 pm
i just found out on the teevee it’s not officially a blizzard until the blizzard standard is maintained for 3 hours so you can’t say it’s here yet!
1:56 pm
Yes, NYC is getting snow…. real snow. It’s swirling white out there and I’m warm and cozy inside. I was supposed to attend a seminar at the Foundation Center today and had called yesterday to see if I could get credit if I wasn’t able to get to their offices today. I looked at their website for some information before calling them this morning and they had today’s classes canceled and will reschedule them. (Yay.)
3:43 pm
Al Franken for President. Or Howard Dean.
5:39 pm
Maybe that koolaid Krugman drank at the White House dinner he attended is finally wearing off.
5:42 pm
Elizabeth Warren for President!
