I know. Monsanto is one of the biggest reasons I’m not ready to give up my cynicism about the state, and fate, of my country/world. Even organic farmers are at risk. Alfalfa deregulation, anyone?
This makes me very angry when even I, unemployed poor person, am willing to shell out some extra dollars now and then to subsidize companies that are trying to do it right. Now it looks like I won’t even be able to grow my own if I don’t hurry up and order those heirloom seeds. Even then I’ll have to grow them indoors so the frankenfood pollen doesn’t get on my good stuff. No wonder people in India are committing suicide.
What to do with all this anger?
