  1. I agree. To paraphrase Melissa at Shakesville, being a feminist means calling out sexism and misogyny wherever it occurs, no matter to whom it is directed.

    Still, it pisses me off when I have to jump to the defense of, say, Palin or Bachman because of the sexist crap thrown at them.

    So, people who keep lobbing this crap at women, any woman, stop it already. It is not helpful. And, it pisses me off.

  3. Right. But it’s okay for HER to be a mean, gay-hating, ignorant, anti-science, anti-fact, pro-corporate, anti-OWS, and a liar (as pointed out by Olbermann and Truthout and Fact Check, et al too many times to list).

    Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
