Maybe if Obama would stop assuring them that we’ll back them no matter what, the Israelis would stop doing things like this. Lots of teenagers and children being described as “militants” killed in the attacks. Of course, Obama would be the last person to lecture the Israelis on assassinating people.
‘We’ve got your back’
You know, it is real odd that the ones right of the dial that I know say he doesn’t support Israel.
I swear the Israelis are attempting to draw America into another illegal war.
Per several articles I’ve read, and a segment on NPR yesterday, it appears that Israel fears the bunker busting bombs it has procured from the US aren’t big enough to accomplish much against Iran’s now better protected sites (whatever those sites hold) and really, really, really want the US to take the lead using B-52 or B-2 bombers to carry and drop the biggest bunker busters.
Big Bombs Require Big U.S. Planes.
Israeli planes can carry 2,000-pound bombs. The Americans have 30,000-pound bombs designed to eliminate the type of underground facilities Iran has constructed. Goure says only the Americans have the planes that can carry those enormous bombs.
“You need a bomber, you’d need a B-52, a B-2 bomber to carry something that massive,” he says.
Daniel Levy says that’s what Israel would like to see: American bombers heading toward Iran. He says Israeli leaders know they can’t destroy Iran’s nuclear program on their own, they can only delay it.

The two state solution is a pipe dream. Anyone still clinging to the hope that the state of Israel will be living side by side with a Palestinian state should get over it. It ain’t gonna happen. Netanyahu and the Zionist movement has seen to that. What we will end up with because of Israel’s settlement policy is a state of Palestine. That state will be populated by a Jewish minority and a Palestinian majority. Palestine will be a republic with one man/woman, one vote.
