The only reason that the 1% set up the IMF and the WTO in the first place was to subjugate workers worldwide by burdening them with a mountain of debt. The 1% would live happily ever after off the interest paid to them from that debt. In the USA we pay $350 billion dollars each year in interest. That’s roughly 15% of our total budget. 20% of our budget is spent on Social Security. Oh, to be a wealthy man and live off the interest from my investments in the Cayman Islands and my Swiss Bank account.
