Wow

Kos himself goes after Obama for capitulating. Go read it all:

Yup, this is insanity. Not only is it brain dead stupid with regards to Republicans, but also betrays his own vice president and congressional caucus — which had promised several times that Social Security (among other things) was off the table.

  1. Thanks Kos!!! Just think – without you we might have had a real Democrat in 2008. Who reads that idiot anymore? Who actually believed BHO wouldn’t do this?

  2. After two days, the White House phone lines are still constantly busy.
    That should tell Barry something.

  3. It should tell Barry something, but it won’t. He has been the one to push this grand bargain nonsense for the past year and a half. He can hardly wait to cut Social Security, even though there is zero reason to do so, as far as a program that contributes to the national deficit.

Our best hope is that the Congressional Democrats get the message. If they thought 2010 was a tough year, wait until they see 2014 after having cut Social Security with this chained CPI robbery.

Some Democratic elements within Congress might listen. Obama never will. Cutting Social Security, or Medicare, or preferably both, is his baby.

  4. I’ve phoned or emailed my congresscritters — Feinstein, Pelosi, Boxer and Lofgren,(funny how the most powerful people in California are all women), and signed Kos’s petition to Obama.

Some congressional phones are also ringing off the hook.
If Obama doesn’t come to his senses, I’m gonna sic Orly Taitz on him (another powerful California woman, along with Meg Whitman and Carly “You’re So Vain” Fiorina).

  5. Listening to Obama answer a question about his proposal for the Fiscal BLUFF meaning there would be tax increases on those earning under $250,000 and cuts for those on SocSec, I heard a person who has his own objective and to hell with anyone else, except maybe Republicans.
