The gun manufacturers lobbying group the NRA is funded to sell more guns. That aside, Hollywood and the video game industry play an important role in the glorification of war and the celebration of the militarization of civil society. They do it for propaganda reasons and for profit. Everybody has skin in the murder game.
I guess they’ll have to be revising to “my warm dead hands!”
