  1. Of course he’s not a liberal. That’s been obvious for many, many years. But he’s more liberal than either McCain or Romney (and Hillary). Which was enough to give him the presidency twice. But not only isn’t he a liberal he’s also a very frightened human being. He’s not a risk taker. Which is why his administration wouldn’t admit that there even was a drone program until very recently. Obama goes along to get along. So when the Congress told him that they wanted an assassination program in place using drones he said okie dokie as long as it was a secret and he get to approve the targets. The Congress funded the drone program. The Congress has known about the drone program for years. The Congress kept the program secret and away from the public eye. Right now, today, there are 40+ public agancies which use drones. Can ‘you’ name them? Can you name 10 of them? Here’s a few to get the ball rolling…..CIA, Department of Defense, NASA……

  2. He’s not more liberal than Hillary on women’s rights, LBGT rights, and homeowners’ rights. Nor on anything else that I can think of (Social Security), except corporate welfare. There he’s an unabashed supporter without limits, no matter the cost.

  3. You’re both wrong. He is a liberal in the current state of triangulated politics because liberals and progressives have capitulated and voted for him. If there is no opportunity cost for drones, the national security state and cuts to entitlements from the left, then we own them. The rest is bleating self flagellation and rank hypocrisy.
