I heard someone on cable news the other day (I don’t remember which channel, since CNN and MSNBC seem to have merged into the same circus), talking about how Republicans absurdly contradict themselves all the time, but it doesn’t matter because… Republicans have amnesia!
If only there was some group of professionals who tracked these things and publicly held them accountable.
Southerners are among the most “poorly educated” folks in the country.
The most conservative and lest progressive Democrats are Southern blacks.
Those facts bode well for both Hillary and Trump in tomorrows primary.

How was this assertion arrived at?
There is a difference between neo-liberalism and progressivism.
Hillary is a neo-liberal and Bernie is a progressive.
Until FDR most blacks in the South were Republicans because the Democratic Party was racist at its core.
Black Southerners are strong church people (the church was where the organizing and education happened in the Old South) and hold many of the same values held by conservative Evangelical Christians.
Most blacks oppose homosexuality, are very military oriented, are pro-gun (the reason is obvious—-for protection against whitey’s Klan), value the church experience, and so on.
The Clinton’s have always pandered to these conservative folks as has the Democratic Party.
In the South it’s called the Plantation mindset.
