  1. Think about the stakes involved in what Assange is saying and doing the next time you get e-mail from someone who shouldn’t know your business but does. Or the next time you send a message on Facebook, a neighborhood where the authorities might know more about you than your next of kin.

    Or the next time your Google search results in almost every ad on every site being what you searched for…or alternatives. And that goes on for weeks (I haven’t tracked it much longer than that).
